BACKGROUND
INFORMATION
- The Bibliothèque
Lennoxville Library is a non-profit
lending library
that has been
in existence
since 1912.
The library
occupies the
former post
office on the
corner of College
and Queen. This
building is
owned and maintained
by the Ville
de Sherbrooke.
Our operating
budget is composed
of a grant from
the Town of
Lennoxville,
donations and
fund-raising.
Many volunteers
help the librarian
and assistant
to keep the
library running
smoothly.
MEMBERSHIP
- Membership
is free for
residents of
Sherbrooke (all
Boroughs).
- Non-Resident's
membership -
$20.00
- Group
rate (for example

available on
request.
COLLECTIONS
- We
are a subscription
library with over
15,000 volumes,
providing Sherbrooke
and area residents
with an excellent
selection of
English and
French books
for all ages.
- Our
collection includes
large print
books and audio
books. There
is a limited
selection of
old films on
video for the
hearing impaired.
- A
new collection
is being started
called "Easy-Reads".
This new
series will
consist of multi-level reading
books, both
fiction and
non-fiction,
that can engage
both young adults
