Open House at
the Library
·
Activities to celebrate the start of the
library’s centennial year. Exhibits will be on display to illustrate the Library’s History and the past 100 years of books. Light refreshments will be served.

Saturday, January 14 from 11.30 am to 3 pm at the
Lennoxville Library.

Volunteer
Evening Reception
·
A reception to thank the many volunteers, both past and present, who have contributed to the library in a myriad of ways. Posters depicting the Library’s History
and Books over 100 years will be on display. Refreshments will be served.

“Murder on the Menu: A Literary Evening on the Titanic”
·
Murder Mystery Night Dinner and Performance Fundraiser.
Join a cast of Townships’ actors and solve the mystery – who did it,
why and how? Special surprise guests! Why not dress for the occasion in 1912
attire!

Brunch
with Authors
·
Brunch followed by
presentations from distinguished authors Louise Penny, Neil Bissondath, and
Ronald Sutherland – with Ross Murray as MC! Book signing by guest authors. Books by
guest authors and Eastern Townships’ writers will also be sold.

Food Festival Fundraiser

There will be cooking demonstrations by the Pampered Chef and Epicure
Spices as well as the sale of cook books and Tupperware.

National Children's
Book Week Celebrates the
Library’s 100th
·
Author, illustrator or storyteller will visit the
library. Winners of the children’s
story competition will be announced.

LAHMS
Exhibition “Check Them Out: Early 20th Century Books”

To commemorate the 100th
Anniversary of the Bibliothèque Lennoxville Library, this Lennoxville-Ascot
Historical & Museum Society (LAHMS) temporary exhibition will feature
early 20th Century books which might have been found in the
library.

June through August at Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre, during museum upstairs open hours

Tea & Tales
– 100 years to celebrate
·
Enjoy tea and readings from books from the last 100
years. This event will complement the exhibition of books at LAHMS
